It has been many years since I’ve had this but it’s one of my favourite homemade past times. It’s so easy to make and it’s also pretty healthy. I love it because it’s a bit like eating pork dumplings without the carb-filled skins.
Prep time 10 mins
Cook time 30mins
500g lean pork mince
2 tsp chicken powder (I use Lee Kum Kee chicken bouillon powder)
2 tsp olive oil
2cm piece of ginger, finely chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Spring onion, to garnish (optional)
Mix all the ingredients together in a heatproof tray that you can use to steam.
Steam the mixture for 30 minutes. Don’t worry if there are bubbles or holes as that’s normal. Garnish with spring onion (optional).
